FireLogix Serves as Fire Engineers and Code Consultants for New Air Force Museum

FireLogix Engineering, Ltd will serve as the Fire Protection Engineering firm of record for the new major addition to the National Museum of the Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio. FireLogix will serve as the Fire Protection and Life Safety Consultant for the Turner / BRPH / BWSC Design Build Team.

This project includes the construction of a new 224,000 square foot hangar building. The facility will be fully protected with an automatic fire sprinkler system. A new fire pump will be designed and installed to feed the fire sprinkler systems. New fire alarm and mass notification systems will be installed and networked with the existing systems in the adjacent museum buildings. Air sampling smoke detection systems will be installed in the hangar bay.

FireLogix Engineering, Ltd. will provide code consulting (IBC / NFPA 101 / UFC), fire protection systems design, and fire alarm and mass notification systems design for the facility.
