FireLogix Engineering Selected for Fort Benning Rip Rope Barracks Project

FireLogix Engineering, Ltd. was selected by STOA Architects to provide fire protection engineering and code consulting services on the Rip Rope Barracks at Fort Benning, Georgia.

This project includes the design / build full renovation of two barracks buildings. The facilities are each 3 stories with an attic and partial basement. Each facility is approximately 49,000 square feet. Each facility is classified as Residential, Business, and Assembly in a Mixed Use arrangement.

Each facility will be protected throughout with automatic fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 13 and UFC 3-600-01.

Fire alarm and mass notification systems will be installed throughout. These are voice evacuation type systems used to warn occupants of fire or other impending danger. The systems are addressable intelligent systems with pull stations, strobes, speakers, smoke detectors, microphone stations and various other devices and appliances.
